This was my second stay here and my husband’s third. They have new owners since we last stayed in 2024, but the new owners were as welcoming and accommodating as the last. Very nice cabins, Beautiful views right outside your window! Our cabin had fireplace, full kitchen and jacuzzi tubs which are a favorite for me to soak in! They are maybe a mile outside the Rocky Mountain National Park which is very convenient and close to town! Highly recommend a stay here!

I recently stayed at McGregor Mountain Lodge for seven days with my two dogs. What an amazingly beautiful and welcoming lodge! The grounds were so well-kept, with trimmed trees and colorful hanging and window flower baskets. I had my own private outdoor eating area with a picnic table and grill, comfy chairs on my front porch and filled humming bird feeders outside of the living room window to watch the many humming birds coming to visit. The room was not just clean, but smelled clean! There were plenty of extra supplies including pots/pans, dishes, utensils and glassware. The area around the cabins was lit with small, subtle light posts so I felt safe walking my dogs after dark (but not so light that I couldn't see the stars!) The lodge/office was also very welcoming with a comfortable living area set in front of a fireplace, a selection of DVD movies, as well as many books and games. There was also an upstairs loft/gathering area. I noticed a playground area for kids, behind the lodge. The staff was super friendly. Definitely an A+!!!!

We had a small studio cabin with a fireplace (wood provided), full kitchen equipped with what you need, comfortable bed and living area space. It is near the entrance of The National Park for easy access, great restaurant/bar close by and not too far from town. Abundance of wildlife and the fall river running near by. Reasonably priced. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Hotel tub is set up on time slot so you have privacy and do not share with other guests, we loved this feature. We will be back.

My husband and I booked this place for our weekend getaway to Estes Park. When we arrived the front staff was friendly and check in was easy. We adored our little cabin and had great views through the front window. I don't think I've been in a hotel or rental that was as clean as our cabin was. Floors, bed, and cooking equipment were all spotless. They had everything you needed from cups, plates, cooking utensils to free cookies in the lobby. The hot tub was also extremely clean and we liked that you had to reserve a time to use it so there wasn't any overcrowding and allowed for a more intimate experience. The location was only a few minutes from the entrance of the park and a few minutes further to Estes Village. We'd recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Estes Park. We will most definitely be returning!

Gets all the basics totally right: great location right by Falls River entrance to the park, clean spacious room, and freshly baked cookies at reception! They also have a wonderful board games / DVD / book collection. The only downside was that the room got quite hot so turn the heating off when you get there!

McGregor Mountain Lodge has a timeless charm that reflects its history and authenticity, yet it’s beautifully maintained and thoughtfully cared for. We really enjoyed our stay because of the proximity to the Fall River entrance, and the hiking trail up the mountain right behind the property.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A perfect mountain retreat! McGregor Lodge was the ideal place to relax and recharge after full days of exploring everything Estes Park has to offer. The setting is peaceful and scenic—perfect for grilling dinner while watching elk wander by or spotting hummingbirds and woodpeckers flitting through the trees. It felt like nature was putting on a show just for us. The cabins are cozy and well-kept, with just the right mix of rustic charm and comfort. But what really sets McGregor apart is the staff—so welcoming, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. They made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. If you're looking for a place that offers serenity, wildlife, and that warm Colorado hospitality, McGregor Lodge is it. We can't wait to come back!
